R & S Nixon & Co are a family run business who have farmed at Oakwood Farm, Selkirk in the Scottish Borders since 1982. The contacting business was started in 1985 and is run by Paul Nixon.

We operate a fleet of modern, up to date machinery offering a personal service with reliability & attention to detail to give our customers the best job possible at the best price.

We cover a wide range of contracting jobs throughout the year & employ up to 10 men at the height of the season.

We operate from the Forth Road Bridge in the north down to Holy Island in the south. We can cope with any size of job with ease - from harrowing a small horse paddock to a full silaging team – nothing is of any trouble to us.
